# Anakai Kai Coaching Mode — Terry Handoff Bundle (2026-06-09)

Self-contained snapshot of the Behaviour Graph v0 work to date. Enough to start implementation without access to our repo or any internal system.

## Read in this order

1. **`guides/terry-handoff.md`** — read first. Narrative walkthrough: what this is, how the pieces connect, what we'd like from you.
2. **`spec.md`** — frame, contract terms, ownership boundaries.
3. **`protocols/edge-cheatsheet.md`** + **`protocols/extraction.md`** — the data model and how it was assembled.
4. **`voice/kai-voice-persona.md`** — voice register. Normative for every Kai response.
5. **`templates/_chapter.md`** — field schema per node type.
6. **`chapters/00-intro.md`** + **`chapters/01-finding-prospects.md`** — actual content of the first two chapters. Each node has its body, internal `source_ref`, `kai_voice_draft`, all linked relations (`linked_triggers`, `linked_transitions_to`, `linked_backed_by`, etc.) — that's the relational layer; you can build a graph from these arrays directly.
7. **`canvases.md`** — FigJam visual references. URLs only; access requires Figma view permission (ping Dmitry).
8. **`protocols/chapter-workflow.md`** + **`protocols/adversarial-reviewer.md`** — how each chapter is produced. Read if you want to know what guarantees the artifacts come with.
9. **`protocols/adversarial-flags-ch.01.md`** + **`lessons/2026-06-09-ch1.md`** — what we found while extracting ch.1, what was resolved, what limits we hit.
10. **`protocols/kg-predicates.md`** + **`protocols/mempalace-convention.md`** — only relevant if you later want live MCP access. Ignore for now.

## What this bundle contains

16 markdown files: contract, protocols, persona, chapter content (ch.0 + ch.1), lessons, this README.

## What this bundle does NOT contain

- The source book (we extracted and paraphrased; not redistributed).
- MemPalace drawer bodies (they duplicate `chapters/0X-*.md` — no value adding both).
- Live MCP access (separate setup if you want live updates as later chapters land).

## What's coming after this

Chapters 2 through 7 on the same pipeline. Ch.2 (Inviting) will be heaviest on scripts. Same shape, same protocols.

## Open items to know about (also in `guides/terry-handoff.md`)

- **State entry without a loop.** Some states are reached only via Kai detecting `entry_criteria` from user signals, not via a graph-internal `transitions_to` edge. Your state-detection layer needs both paths.
- **Forward references.** `precedes` edges may target placeholder ids (e.g. `L-02-XX`) for chapters not yet extracted. Logged in `lessons/*.md` and emitted retroactively when the target lands.
- **Voice discipline.** Knowledge from the source book, voice from us. No verbatim from the source author in any user-facing surface.

## Questions / blockers / gaps

Surface to Dmitry early. We'd rather amend the protocols now than carry ambiguity into ch.2.
